THE FOOTPRINT OF SPAIN
We know that our cultures are diverse, the United States is a country where different nationalities are seen living in the same country every day, which makes it bigger and more prosperous!
Mexicans, Cubans, Japanese, Venezuelans, Chinese, Haitians, South Africans, Chileans, Puerto Ricans, Argentines, Russians, Spanish, Brazilians ... are just some of those that are part of the culture and customs of the United States of America today.
Spain is a fundamental part of all these cultures, in language, foods, dances, sounds ... which have been changing over the years without forgetting the roots.
Spain has been with us since our beginnings, and its writers, artists, culture, flavors are always there, those that we must know and we must not let our history be forgotten.
This event began in 2015, the objective is that every year artists, writers, poets are paid tribute ... where their legacies are made known to new generations.
We have the support and presence of the Consul of Spain in the United States, and we call on us to join with schools from all over the United States, to offer this event as a method of classes in Spanish classes.
It would be held in the month of April, publicizing the week of Cervantes.
Doing dances, music, readings, paintings ... we also make calls for the best narration, poem, drawing that represents the theme.
Schools reach a high level of learning through art, the Spanish language is promoted in our schools, making our students interested in being bilingual, students' attitudes and vocations are made known, and new talents are discovered.
Schools are named and receive awards for the best works.

Sabemos que nuestras culturas son diversas, los Estados Unidos , es un pais donde se ve a diario las diferentes nacionalidades viviendo en un mismo pais, lo que lo hace ser cada vez mas grande y próspero!!
Mexicanos,cubanos,japoneses,venezolanos,chinos,haitianos,sudafricanos,chilenos,puertorriqueños,argentinos,rusos,españoles,brasileros... son solo algunos de los que forman parte hoy, de la cultura y costumbres en los estados unidos de america.
España es parte fundamental de todas estas culturas,en idioma, comidas,bailes,sonidos...los cuales han ido cambiando con el paso de los años sin olvidar las raices.
España nos acompaña desde nuestros inicios, y siempre estan ahi, sus escritores,artistas, cultura,sabores ,los que debemos conocer y no debemos dejar que se olvide nuestra historia.
Este evento se inició en el 2015 , el objetivo es que cada año se le brinde homenaje a artistas ,escritores,poetas .. donde se de a conocer a las nuevas generaciones sus legados.
Contamos con el apoyo y la presencia del Consul de españa en los Estados Unidos, y convocamos a unirnos con escuelas de todos los estados unidos,para brindar este evento como mètodo de clases en las clases de español.
Se celebraría en el mes de Abril, dando a conocer la semana de Cervantes.
Haciendo bailes, música, lecturas,pinturas... hacemos tambien convocatorias a la mejor narración, poema,dibujo que represente el tema.
Las escuelas alcanzan un nivel alto de aprendizaje por medio del arte,se promueve la lengua española en nuestros centros escolares ,haciendo que nuestros estudiantes les interese ser bilingues, se dan a conocer las actitudes y vocaciones de los estudiantes y se descubren nuevos talentos .
Las escuelas se nombran y reciben premios a los mejores trabajos.

Angels Reach has been established since 2004 as a unique, innovative, and highly specialized organization dedicated to bringing out the best in children's academic, social and functional abilities. Recognized for its truly dedicated professionals, and highly individualized programming, Angels Reach established the first intensive, fully integrated clinical education model in our community, and continued to expand services to meet the demands from the community for children who had not been performing to their maximum capabilities. Our Ambassadors (tm) Preparatory Leadership Course challenges advanced learners to achieve in targeted academic areas including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), Multi-Cultural studies, Robotics, Journalism, Community Service and Business Entrepreneurship. Our student Ambassadors receive daily, real-life opportunities to practice mentorship and community problem-solving skills.
Our award-winning Special Education Wings Division offers customized, intensive clinical programming integrated within separate and inclusive educational settings which have proven to develop individual abilities beyond common expectations.
Angels Reach is not only a community resource organization, and an outstanding state-supported school, but also an independently running clinical facility.
Within the clinical services, we offer both small group and individual programs. Our small group program combines speech, occupational, sensory integration, ABA/Verbal Behavior, developmental therapy, socio/relational, pragmatic language interventions in a setting that mimics a school environment so as to facilitate school readiness for pre-school aged, and elementary aged children. Our individual program offers flexible scheduling for one-to-one interventions including Verbal Behavior, speech, occupational, sensory integration, and cognitive support.

Academics at Downtown Doral Charter Elementary
Downtown Doral Charter Elementary's unique dual language curriculum prepares students to excel in an increasingly complex global society. This is a true immersion program with a choice of two tracks: Spanish or Portuguese. Research has proven that early exposure to two world languages results in significant cognitive benefits. In addition, math, science, and social studies are also taught in both English and the foreign language. Upon completion of 5th grade, students will read, write, and speak the language fluently. They will have a comprehensive understanding and appreciation for the traditions and cultures of Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. Multi-lingual and culturally aware, DDCES students will be opened to a wider world, and to greater success within it. KINDER - 8th GRADE
Somerset Academy’s curriculum is based on Florida’s New Generation Standards/Competency Based Curriculum and encompasses the core subject areas of math, reading/language arts, science, and social studies. We also offer weekly special area classes for Spanish, art, music, computers/media and physical education.
Just as each student learns differently, each teacher has his or her own unique style of teaching. Therefore, our curriculum encompasses elements of whole language and phonics instruction, as well as whole group, small group, and cooperative group activities. Our teachers and administrators work daily to develop, monitor and make necessary adjustments to the curriculum. By doing so, we ensure that individual student needs are being met.
El plan de estudios de Somerset Academy se basa en el plan de estudios basado en competencias / estándares de nueva generación de Florida y abarca las áreas temáticas básicas de matemáticas, lectura / artes del lenguaje, ciencias y estudios sociales.
